Here are our proposals to make your May 2024 holiday at the Hotel Eliseo a very special one!
--> Wednesday afternoon, May 22nd - In the vineyards of the Zavalloni winery
On Wednesday, we offer an enchanting walk through the vineyards of Cantina Zavalloni. Immersed in the green hills of the Cesena hinterland, this winery offers the chance to enter the fascinating world of wine and discover the different stages of the production process, from the raw material to the finished product.
A journey of taste, in search of the flavours of Romagna, its people and its wines served, why not, with a tasty platter of cold cuts and lots of fun!
--> Friday morning, May 24th - Santarcangelo market and town centre
Why not starting your morning with a nice walk in the historic centre of Santarcangelo? This characteristic village in Romagna not far from the coast, every Friday its main squares host a colourful open-air market, surrounded by the scent of Km0 fruit and vegetables and many tasty clothes stalls!
As if that were not enough, Santarcangelo also hides underground caves that can be visited! What better occasion to combine culture, tradition and good food?
--> Saturday afternoon, May 25th - Happy hour in our garden with live music and typical local products
From 6 p.m., don't miss the aperitif in the wonderful garden of the Hotel Eliseo! With live music, immersed in a truly unique atmosphere surrounded by the thousands of colours of a sunset over the sea, all you have to do is toast and delight your palate with the flavours of our beloved Romagna!
--> Monday afternoon, May 27th - Afternoon - Discovering the Paganelli oil mill
After last year's great success, we would like to repeat the visit to the traditional Paganelli oil mill! We will start with an evocative walk among the olive trees and then move on to see all the machinery required for oil production.
Dulcis in fundo, an extensive tasting of different types of oil that you can try and choose which one you like best!
--> Wednesday afternoon, May 29th - Cooking classes with Granny!
On Monday afternoon, let's get our hands in the dough with our cooking school! You will be guided by the expert hands of Nonna Violante, a real Romagna woman cook, who will reveal all the secrets to learn how to make the original and very tasty piadina!
You will be provided with everything you need, such as an apron, chopping board and rolling pin, and once the piadina is prepared and cooked, you can enjoy it with cold meats and cheeses, accompanied by a good glass of red wine.
