Strozzapreti: the recipe

Nonna Violante's Cooking Classes

Published on 05 June 2020
Strozzapreti: the recipe

Enjoy this short video recipe where Nonna Violante teaches us to make Strozzapreti. Strozzapreti is a typical and very tasty homemade Italian pasta from Romagna.

We suggest dressing this pasta with Bolognese sauce, tomato sauce or clam sauce.

Ingredients for 6 people:

  • 500 g. of flour
  • mild water
  • salt

Procedure:

Mix the flour with water and salt until you get a smooth dough. Roll it thinly, cut like for tagliatelle and twist them in your hands. Cook in salted water for around 7/8 minutes. Dress them with the desired sauce.

Enjoy the video tutorial and Buon Appetito!
